Made this design of the late rapper Nipsey Hussle today. Used a photo and turned it into pixels which then became Perler beads.

Hotline Miami Richard Perler Beads

I made these Perler bead designs based off the game Hotline Miami. Never played it. Just watched folks play it. I got the chicken mask design from ClockTowerCrafts. There are other versions of the mask but they are almost twice as big. I got the character sprite from rips online. If I had more colors I would probably make all of them but that would just be me being weird.

Mario Bros Perler Beads On Canvas

I decided to make miniature versions of the large Mario Bros Perler bead design I have in the kitchen. Gonna have to get some of that excess glue off but otherwise I like the way these came out.

Mega Man Perler Bead

I did this Mega Man out of Perlers based off of a grid created by Hama-Girl. I love how this came out and it gave me a chance to use about five different shades of blue. I am waiting for some other designs to dry on a canvas so I needed something to do.

Jim The Anvil Neidhart Wrestlefest Perler Bead

I did another Perler bead based off of a design by Deanjo2000 of Jim The Anvil Neidhart. This one was way harder than the Bret Hart one because I sneezed and blew it half apart. I wanted to laugh but couldn't because these shades of pink look so similar I had to almost start from scratch. I love the way these came out and now I have to put them on a canvas or something. The Hart Foundation returns!!!

Bret The Hitman Hart Wrestlefest Perler Bead

I have made some other Wrestlefest in Perler bead form but this one is my favorite since Bret The Hitman Hart is my favorite wrestler. I got the design for this from Deanjo 2000 on The Wrestling Legends Forum. He has created a lot of cool ass designs but I prefer the ones that are facing forward for making these designs. I added the watermark because people are still taking images from this site and using them to sale things. It would be a little different if they were not straight up not copying and making my stuff using my own images.

All My Perler Beads On Video (I Think)

A few days ago I decided to make a video showing all the Perler beads I have made over the years. I am sure a few were forgotten and a couple are shown twice. Sorry if they flash on the screen too quickly but no one wants to watch a long ass video with images of beads for long. I made them last half a second each and this is still ten minutes long. The music is from the Steel Punch 5: Brokenhearted City Soundtrack. I have a few more designs that I wanna work on and hopefully I'll get to them this coming week. 3D Metroid perler Bead

I wanted to make something today so I whipped up this standing 3D Metroid Perler bead design. I have made a couple other 3D designs in the past and these things are stupid hard to do. I made sure to melt the whole thing together and not make it tall so it does not topple over.

The IT Crowd Perler Beads

I just did these Perler beads based off the characters from The IT Crowd. I watched a few episodes yesterday and thought it was funny. I'll likely give these to my friends that showed me the series. The original design is from jayeeflo on Reddit. The ironing process made Moss lean away a bit which I actually like.

Owlman DC Perler Bead

I did this big Owlman using Perler beads. I had tried making it before using what I thought were the proper colors and even got close to halfway done before realizing that it looked terrible and I was going to have to start over or keep on making something I knew I was not happy with. I set it aide and worked on a couple other things until the right colors arrived. I used dark blue for the outside, light blue next, and then pastel blue for the slightly lighter shade. I love the way this came out. It had to be done in six pieces which is never fun to deal with. I sat weights on it overnight to make sure it stayed flat.

This is based off of the design of Owlman by Frank Quitely who is one of my three favorite comic book artists. If you are ever working on something and it does not look or feel right just stop. It is better to begin again than to complete something you know you're not happy with. Below I will show the design I almost used with the bad colors. I added a watermark because people are still using not just designs I made but the actual images and selling them on ebay. Like THIS guy. He did not make that and I would never charge that much for a design if I ever sold them.

Pokemon Trainer WWE Perler Beads 3

Did this WWE/Pokemon Trainer based out of Perler beads of The Big Show. I may make a couple more of these but currently I am making this big ass creation that I hope to have done before the end of the weekend. Actually leaving the house affects this.

Pokemon Trainer WWE Perler Beads 2

Two years ago I made some Pokemon Trainers based off of sprites I found online. It sucks that the person who made them got rid of their Tumblr page so I could credit them properly. Zakuuko is their name. I heard that they made ten of them but I could only find a few until yesterday. I found the whole set but will not be making them. I made Randy Orton and CM Punk so far. The ones I will not make are The Shield because it is just mostly black beads and nothing else or Ryback because...Ryback. I will make The Big Show and Sheamus and maybe Kane. The Shinsuke Nakamura one was made using a random trainers sprite I found.

River City Ransom Towel Perler Bead

I did this River City Ransom Perler bead a couple of days ago to keep myself from getting rusty. There is a huge design I want to make but hated the portion I had started. I made and ironed about 30% of that design and realized that it looked like ass so I stopped.

Forcing Myself To Draw 5

Out of all the hobbies I have like writing, making songs, random painting, Perler bead making, using Pixlr, and podcasting, drawing is the one I do the least of. I tend to forget that it is something I used to do exclusively and it fell to the wayside as the years went by. For weeks I have had my drawing board near my bed in case I felt the urge to do something and last night it hit me while listening to podcasts. This is Tabitha who continues to be my barometer for drawing. With her I can see what has changed with my art or what needs to be done better. There is an artist Erra The Creator that does art that is cool as hell that inspired me to draw something. A lot of her stuff is proof that you do not need to cover art with shading or even faces sometimes for it to look amazing.
