Small Acrylic Pours

I did these small acrylic pours last night and let them dry before spraying them with a clear coat. I love how these tiny things came out. I taped them up completely in the back because I knew that while drying and dripping that the paint would make its way back there. These are on tiny hard canvas that I wanna put something on. Not sure what yet though. On one I used blue, purple, and white. Another yellow, orange, and green. And last purple, black, and white.

And another one.

I did another one a few days ago. No need to post a whole 'nother blog for it.

Acrylic Pour With Tape

Last night I decided to finally try using tape with an acrylic pour. I learned a lot of what not to do while doing this. I used three small canvas CK gave me and painted the canvas white. Did not need to do that. After it dried I put the tape and then poured the same colors (white, red, pink, blue, yellow) in different layers on top. Then my goofy as forgot to add the silicone so I dripped it on top. I like the way it came out by it increased the drying time so much. I ended up having to grab a small paint brush and clean up the edges where the white was due to bleeding from the paint as it slipped under the tape.

After waking up it was dry so I sprayed it with an acrylic clear coat and let it dry. I really like the way these came out. Not sure how I am gonna hang them up but it will likely be in my hallway which is empty. Plants in living room, Streets of Rage 2 in kitchen. Those walls are covered.

New Big Ass Congo Plant

I got this big ass Philodendron Congo plant from my friend and her husband. She says they moved it outside and within two days the leaves got a tan and this is the result. She gave it to me and I was gonna just cut off the burnt leaves but sites said that it would shock the plant so for now they stay. There is already a new one growing. I have seen large versions of this and I am hoping this sticks around to get to that point. I will be buying a new pot this weekend for it.

Tiny Paintings Big Plant

I got some canvas from CK and some more paint from this shop on La Cienega that I have passed literally hundreds of times but never went into. Mostly because I am usually on a bus or car but this time I was taking the Shoelace Express and decided to go inside. I got this paint set and used the last of my Floetrol. I'll be buying more next week as well as some Perler beads for some designs I wanna try.

Here is my creeping Charlie plant which is nuts and out of control. I have a lot of cuttings and have given them as gifts. I gave someone a tiny one that went out of control and wanted one myself. I split it from the inch plant you see in the picture on the left and the thing went crazy. I love how big it is and want to see how long it can get. I dump a huge cup of water in it every few days, let it drain, and it just keeps on going.
