Elvira Perler Bead

Made this Elvira design last week after going back and forth wanting to make a design of her for a long ass time. As a kid I watched her on Ch. 9 in the afternoons showing weird ass movies. Watched her film as a kid too. She is an actual icon and stopped aging about 50 years ago. It was hard to find a design that wasn't mostly just black or washed out so I am happy with how this turned out.

Audrey 2 Perler Bead

Made this a few days ago and straight up forgot to post it here. This is another Audrey 2 but the best one I have done. Based on pixel design by ElBookNook on Etsy.

Metroid And Double Dragon Wood Art

Not done making bead art but got into making wood art. I did some stuff years ago but these are smaller. I decided to start with small and simple so I made this Metroid one. Then I decided to make a double sided Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon. I learned from a failed design in between these and bought some sandpaper to smooth things out and remove excess glue.

Dorothy Dandridge Perler Bead

Made this Dorothy Dandridge design last week. I asked my lady who I should make next and this was who she suggested. I still need to hang my last three designs up on the wall but can't reach that high. My ceiling is over ten feet tall. I was originally going to use black and white images but they were all coming out washed.

Made this Denzel Washington design earlier this week. Hopefully my lady doesn't try and steal it while I sleep. Last Denzel (Training Day) I made was sold to a coworker.

Idris Elba Perler Bead

Decided to make this Idris Elba design to go with my wall. Don't know how I am gonna hang these new designs but am giving one or two of these away to people I know. My lady for sure wants the Eartha Kitt one. This design was actually easy to do.

Grace Jones Perler Bead

I know I keep calling these Perler beads which is a brand but I have not used those in a long time. I use this cheaper brand I found on Amazon. This is another image for my wall that I will be moving around (and giving some away) soonish. One is going to the LA County Fair since I haven't entered anything in a few years. Love the way this came out and wasn't sure how it would look until halfway through.

Jean-Michel Basquiat Perler Bead

Continuing to add to my Black wall. I have made designs of Basquiat before but never this big. This was a difficult one to do because there were no spots that were dominated by a single color. It was just all over the place so I did one or two pieces a night after work.
