Metal Mario Perler Bead

I randomly wanted to make a Metal Mario design. I looked at what other folks made to be sure that I wasn't copying or anything and all I saw were small ones that just made Mario sprites from other games but grey.

Old School Centipede/Mario Bros. Perler Beads

I made these for no reason. I just wanted to keep my hands busy until I buy more beads for some big stuff I plan on making.

Even More Mini Perler Beads

I made some more mini Perler beads last night to keep sharp. Made a Bullet Bill, Mario Bros. shell, and a mini Goro from Mortal Kombat based on one of my previous designs.

Chunky Mario and Cell (Dragon Ball) Perler Beads

I made this chunky Mario a few days ago because I just needed to make something. I have done probably hundreds of Mario things over the years. 

Mini Piranha Plant Perler Beads

I found some sprites of the Piranha Plant and made these using mini Perler beads. Also, you can't tell from this photo but the red also has some very light pink mixed in. I am getting more beads next week so I'll be able to start expanding my designs. 

3D Perler Beads And More

Over the past few days I made these 3D Perler bead designs. I make these way faster than I used to. I used to have such a problem getting these things to stand up and not flop over or just to connect properly. Now its easy and fun to make. I'm sure I'll make some more this week. I also made a random turtle shell.

 

Plants And Lack Of Inspriation

I bought a fern from Trader Joe's a few days ago for a few dollars. I love how healthy it looks and hope that I can keep it living long. I have not had luck with these things and I think its mostly from drowning them in the past.

Mario Bros Perler Beads On Canvas

I decided to make miniature versions of the large Mario Bros Perler bead design I have in the kitchen. Gonna have to get some of that excess glue off but otherwise I like the way these came out.

Wood Block Pixel Mario

This is my first time trying to make something out of wood. I used a basic Mario style sprite from Mario Bros. on NES and gave it a go. This is not a cheap hobbie and requires a lot of steps to get a finished version. I am not good at painting so having to paint parts of this was difficult. I got the bag off of Amazon for twenty something bucks and there are 500 in a bag. Took over 200 just for this design.

More Framed Perler Beads

I went to the thrift store and managed to get a bunch of frames for just eight bucks. I put the series of NES Mario Bros. into one canvas. I like it but I wanted to do three separate frames. This is me settling and I may change it at some point. I realized that I can paint lines straighter than I thought.

Mario Bros And Spongebob Squarepants Perler Beads

I did this Mario Bros. Perler bead set a few days ago and the extras today. I plan on putting these on a canvas soon. These were fun to do and I am enjoying making these simple designs for now.

I also did this Spongebob Squarepants for no reason. It is like a little coaster or something based off of a game sprite.

Mario Brothers Framed Perler Beads

I did this framed Mario Brothers in Perler and added it to a canvas. This was a fun one to do and did not take long. Just used a ton of lime green beads. This was a super fun Mario game but I never beat it. It is drying right now and I will finish up tomorrow morning.

Holiday Mario Bros. Perler Beads

I did these holiday based Mario Bros. Perler beads based off of a design found online. It was in sprite and bead so I'm not sure who to credit. I already sent it out as a gift to someone.

Lots Of Perler Designs

Found a lot of design patterns online which means that I made a lot of beads. I finally got my delivery yesterday and started what will be the end of making these. I made Snoopy, Chip and Dale from the Rescue Rangers video game, Slimer from Ghostbusters, a Mario Bros. turtle coin, Jaws, and all the Sailor Moon team.
