Derek Yu Style Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Perler Beads

I did these Perler bead version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles based off of a design by game designer Derek Yu. I wanted to make some more TMNT designs but was sick of the same ones floating around and stumbled upon these and loved them. Not sure what I am gonna do with these framing wise or anything.

 

Beetlejuice And Lydia Perler Bead

I found a grid design of Beetlejuice and Lydia and decided to make it. I like the way this came out and have been checking to see if anyone else has done it. Happy a sand snake is forming the heart since I have been looking for a cool design of one for a while. I also did this peacock feather for someone.

Darth Vader Perler Mosaic

Just finished this Darth Vader Perler in mosaic form for someone. Switched up the colors because she is a fan of purple.

Stormtrooper Perler Bead Mosaic

I did this Stormtrooper in Perler form based off of pellets of something in mosaic form which is my current jam. This was fun to do and I am doing another now. I changed up some colors because I do not have enough red beads right now so I used orange. This was done in two pieces and then connected.

Aragorn Perler Bead

I did this Aragorn from Lord Of The Rings that was originally in Lego form. I can not find the original creator since so many people have reposted it.

I found this design in tile form from The Shining and redid it with Perler beads.

Did this cat in Perler that was originally Legos.

Rainbow Brite Perler Bead

I did this Rainbow Brite in Perler form from a grid I found online. I have not seen anyone else do this yet which is weird. I have been working on a background for a canvas and driving myself nuts and may just use it for something else.

Framed Harley Quinn Perler Bead

This morning I made this huge Harley Quinn in Perler form. I got a frame and spray painted the canvas black then splashed red and white paint on it. I like the way it came out and now need to figure out where the hell it is gonna go. I used red and rust for her outfit and it is about 20 inches tall.

Large Incredible Hulk Perler Mosaic

I saw this design of The Incredible Hulk originally done by Chef Chad (click here to check out the original and his other art) and wondered if I could give it a try and how big it would be. It was originally done in Lego which for me is a fun new way to find designs along with video game sprites and pixel art.

Martin Luther King Jr Perler Bead

I did this MLK Perler based off of found Lego designs online but changed up the colors a little. I ended up framing it this morning with a frame I got from the thrift store for three bucks.

Framed Wolverine And Bruce Lee Perler Beads

I did this Wolverine a few days ago. It's a remake of one I did before but did just half. This time I did more and left space to frame it and changed up some color from other designs of the same found online.

For the background for the picture I got some terrible comics from the thrift store, ran them through the shredder, and Modge Podge them onto the canvas. Came out cool and looks even crazier in person and is perfectly smooth.
