Cobra Commander Perler Bead (canvas added)

A couple of days ago I kept going back and forth on what to make next. I had some designs ready to go and realized that I was just going to make them because I could and not because I thought they were particularly cool or wanted them. I remembered that I wanted to make something of Cobra Commander from GI Joe. Huge fan of the show. Got a tattoo and everything. Sing the theme from the animated film randomly. Its awesome. I made a bunch of different Perlers from the cartoon years ago (click here to see those) and decided to make something groovy. This is based off of the art of Robert Atkins whose stuff is incredible looking.

I was gonna go with black and white and knew that would be silly. Plus I didn't have enough white beads. I did have blues and was gonna do two shades but ended up going with four. I pixelated the drawing and removed the cape because I for sure didn't have enough black beads for that part. A few hours later and melting this together from six pieces (I use one big peg board for all my art) and here it is. I wanna figure out a cool image to frame this into because this one is not going under the bed.

Another Mandalorian Perler Bead Helmet

Yeah, I know I made a Mandalorian helmet a few weeks ago but I gave that one away so I decided to make another. The shades of grey are actually darker than the others and it is smaller. This fit on one board thankfully. I like the way it came out.

Asuka Brawlhalla Perler Bead

I did this Perler bead design of WWE wrestler Asuka from the video game Brawlhalla. It took a lot of time to change the pixels in color to where it wasn't dozens of colors for her hair alone. I really like how bright this is and how it came out.

Fun With Pixlr (Photoshop) Part 87

Still using PixlrX (not regular Pixlr) to make stuff. Its fun. Click here for previous Fun With Pixlr.

Mr. T, Daddy Green, Radio Raheem Perler Beads

I made these Perler beads this morning based off of designs by illmosis (James Beaver) on Twitter. I love how these are based in the style of River City Ransom and are easily recognizable. There's Mr. T. Daddy Green from The Last Dragon. And Radio Raheem from Do The Right Thing.

Steve The Gnome/Felix The Cat Perler Bead

I made these Perler beads of Steve The Gnome from Gravity Falls and a Felix The Cat. I've wanted to make a Felix for a long time and know someone who really likes him so I made it. As for Steve, I have never seen Gravity Falls but like the way it looks and have made other designs from the series in the past.

Rogue X-Men Perler Bead

I made this big ass Rogue from X-Men Perler. I found an image, pixelated it, and then made a few mistakes along the way. This ended up being 28 inches tall. I'll include the grid I made for this. Even though I make grids I still end up making changes in terms of colors and the amount I actually use.

ZX Spectrum Falkor

Made this Falkor from The Neverending Story using that ZX Spectrum style. It is kinda harder to do these than it seems.

ZX Spectrum Star Wars

Made some more Perler beads based on Miguel Sanchez pixel art. I wanted to make the rest of the Star Wars characters but I am now out of white beads.

ZX Spectrum Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I made these Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles last night in ZX Spectrum style based on sprites by artist Miguel Sanchez (PixelArtM) on Dribble. These are a little bit larger than I expected them to be. I was originally going to just make the turtles but while I was on the phone just kept on going. I Like these.

ZX Spectrum The Nothing (The Neverending Story)

I made this The Nothing from The Neverending Story based off of a ZX Spectrum game. This thing looks so weird and cooler from a distance.

Angus Young AC/DC

Just made this Angus Young of AC/DC in Perler form. Took a photo and pixelated it like usual.

Garou Perler Bead

I made this Garou from One Punch Man last night in Perler form. I found a drawing of him and pixelated it and added color since it was originally just black and white and I so do not have enough white and grey beads right now. I like the way this came out.

Watchdog Man Perler Bead

I made this Watchdog Man Perler bead last night. A few days ago I plowed through season two of One Punch Man and this guy popped up and I immediately thought he was the best thing ever. I found an image of him from a sticker and pixelated it and made this. Miss Jackie and I stopped off at Joann's and I was able to grab some beads since Amazon wants to take way too long to send the ones I ordered. This ended up being just as big as the peg board from top to bottom and I sighed with relief. I didn't want to melt two big pieces together. Watermark added in an attempt to keep people from stealing the image and adding it to their ebay and etsy shops. Don't be a dirtbag.

Gaki No Tsukai Perler Beads

I made these Perler beads featuring Matsumoto and Hamada from Gaki No Tsukai. Most people know them from other shows using The Silent Library. I will watch clips from their shows and laugh like an idiot randomly. While making these I was worried about whether or not I'd be able to see who they were because these are not big. I'm happy with how they came out.
