More Plants I Don't Need But Want
I got some more plants. I got two new forms of arrowhead plants from Anwalt. They look awesome. I went with Cam and I had not seen the dark shade before and we got one each. I also got some small African Masks plants from Home Depot with CK because the large one I got about a month ago started dying real fast. I tried to save it and right now as I look at it there is one large leaf left. I hope that starting fresh and small I can keep them alive. I also got a pathos and neon pathos and combined them after one of my favorite people did it with plants I gave her a while ago. I started a small one myself but wanted a large one and now I have it.

Tips (No Tricks) For Perler Bead Making
I have been making Perler bead designs
for nine years now. I've made well over 1,000 designs ranging from
two inches tall to close to three feet tall based on movies, obscure
cartoons, and even friends. I have looked at “tips and tricks”
that people have written to see if there was something that I could
do to make my stuff better or if there was something I never thought
of that I could implement into my own designs. Turns out the answer
is no. Most are just click bait and offer no useful information for
someone currently making their own projects.
In most cases you'll read the same
advice just said in different ways. I have written a post before
giving some advice for people making designs but now think I could be
far more helpful with the advice I can share with folks because I
actually do this. I'll attempt to break this down into categories
like ironing, designs, colors, and making your designs look clean.
Most of this will be things that I wish I had known when I was
starting and I have made almost every mistake I'm writing about.
Fall Guys Perler Bead
I made this Fall Guys Perler bead today. It was simple to make. The only difficult part was separating the colors since they are so similar in the bucket. I took an image from the game and just turned it into pixels.

Panda Perler Bead
I found this stock panda and decided to make it a few days ago because I was having Perler bead making withdrawal.

Sloth Perler Bead
I made a sloth because most of the ones I saw were massive, weird, or ugly. This was based off of a sprite grid.

Standing Link's Awakening Perler Beads
Or is it Oracle of Ages? Or Seasons? Not sure. Found these little BRIK grid designs and decided to make these. I like them. They are small and will fit easily under my bed with all my other designs. I have gotten better at making these stand up and melting them at the bottom. I also post this stuff on Instagram now. Click here to check that out. Eventually all my images here will be there. It's a lot.

Triforce Perler Bead
I made this Triforce Perler design today. It is crazy I've never made one considering all the other Zelda stuff I've done. And the tattoo I have.
Tiny Star Wars Coasters
I made these tiny Star Wars coasters last night and today. I found some BRIK designs for some and others I got from ZoZoTings. Some were harder because I removed a row of beads so that they all were exactly the same size. I also am short on certain colors so instead of being able to just grab them from a bag I had to dig and rip old designs up.
Super Mario Bros. 3 Stand Up Perler Beads
I made these 3D Super Mario Bros. Perler beads yesterday pretty much because I have been making big ass designs and need to chill on that.

Venom Perler Bead
I had a lot of blue beads so I decided to make this Venom Perler bead design. This is based off of sprites created by Quin-Pixel-Arts. I have not added the tongue because by the time I had this big ass thing done I was over it and making other things. I'll get around to it. I messed up placement a few times and it threw things off but it still came out cool. Now its under the bed.

Jake The Snake Roberts/Big Boss Man Perler Bead
I have wanted to make this design for years. Like...years. I would see it when I would look up my own designs and see them being sold on ebay (which is why I add watermarks to large designs now). I don't sale my stuff. I end up giving them away to friends. This design was found on Pixelated Pop and has always been one of those legacy designs. When I first started making Perler bead designs I would hope that I could make something that good one day. Now I have. It seems that all their sites are inactive but you can still check it out.

The Evil Dead Ash Perler Bead
I made this Ash from The Evil Dead Perler bead design yesterday after finishing another large design I have not posted yet because I want to have it on canvas. This is one of those designs I saw a while ago and figured I couldn't make. The original design was mostly in blue and when I was about to start I knew I didn't have enough of that color so I decided to use more color. I like the way this came out. I had to add hair to the top of his head and extend the chainsaw. It ended up being about 20x20 in inches. I got this pattern from Man In The Book Creations. I hope that is a Alice In Chains reference. Click here to check their page out. It also turns out that Audrey II I made last year is from them as well.
