Been playing around with more Pixlr photo stuff. This is fun and I've been trying to do more so that I can get better at it. Click here to check out the first batch. So I made a couple more of those weird hands. When people ask me “Why hands?” I say “I don't know what I'm doing why are you asking me these questions?!” 

Fun With Pixlr (Photoshop)

This is not Photoshop. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars for a program. For these I have used Pixlr which is a free site that has three settings. Beginner, awesome, and oh my lord I'll never use this one because its too professional. Over the last two months I have started using what is the History button and manipulating pictures for me and a couple of friends as gifts and jokes.

Creepy Handmade Clay Hands

Last week I went out to Blick's on Beverly and bought some clay. Now that I am done making Perler bead designs and haven't started knitting yet I wanted something new to do. I'd done some sculpting in high school but wouldn't say that I was good at it. I found this clay, Della Robbia, that comes in a 4 pound square for about $6.

I decided to make a small bear (not pictured) and then for whatever reason an alien hand. The one with three fingers. I liked the way it looked and then made another one. I thought I was done but then I decided to paint them. This is when things got weird.
