Made this Mariah Carey design for my lady. She asked for one a long while back but the design at the time was using all kinds of colors I didn't have and would have been massive in size. So I decided to make this for her because it was stuck in the back of my head as something I said I would do and had not yet.

Not even using Perler anymore at this point but everyone knows the name so I'll stick with it. I have wanted to make some smaller designs and did this Voltron last week.

WCW Heavyweight Title Perler Bead

For YEARS I've wanted to make this belt. This is the WCW Heavyweight Title aka Big Gold. I was gonna make it using a bunch of browns and golds but realized I wouldn't need enough of those colors to justify it financially.

I used the six color technique and I love how it came out. Its 41 inches wide and 14 1/2 high and actually wearable.

Malcolm X Perler Bead

I made this Malcolm X design. After making the Ali one I was compelled to make this. I used the same beads I got from Amazon and they melted together perfectly. These fit in the frame perfectly and I'll be hanging it up soon.

Muhammad Ali Perler Bead

I keep saying things are Perler even though at this point I am using a brand I bought off Amazon. I wanted to make this after listening to a podcast about Muhammad Ali's life. Love how this came out and the frame I got for it.

Stahl House Perler Bead

Earlier this week I was trying to figure out what to hang on my wall cause that Punch Out one classed with everything in my room. I landed on this design of the Stahl House. Me and my lady went there last year and loved everything about it. I used a photo and pixelated it then beaded it up. Then I realized I wanted it in a frame and not a canvas so I took one of my old designs out (sorry, Bowser) and trimmed about two inches off this design and glued it on overnight. I love the way it came out and may do more landscape type things in the future.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out On Canvas

A few days ago I wanted to make Bald Bull. Then I added Lil Mac. Then I said "Why not add referee Mario?" Then I wanted to add the crowd but added more colors to them. Finally used a canvas that's been sitting in my closet. I really like the way this came out and have slapped it on my wall.

Minecraft Perler Beads (Spiderman)

Made these for my friend as a gift for her nephew. She reminded me that he was a Spiderman fan (previously gifted a large design of him) so I whipped the Spiderman one based off of a sprite pattern.

Predator Perler Bead

This was slightly harder to make than I expected. I kept playing around with the image until I fit enough of his face and keep it recognizable. 

Neverending Story Falkor Perler Bead

Hopefully this is a version of Falkor that people won't steal and talk about how hard it was to create. I used a different shade of red that was lighter and closer to pink that worked.

Gremlins (Gizmo and Stripe) Perler Beads

Made these Gremlin designs of Gizmo and Stripe who I will keep calling Spike. I like that I was able to get this amount of design with the 16x12 size.

Forcing Myself To Draw 9

I keep talking about drawing again and I just don't and it makes no sense. Its a free hobby I can do anywhere. I drew Tabitha again because she is my "where are your skills at?" test. Inking was a little harder and getting my hands back to that level of steady. I still use the stippling technique for shading I learned when I was 11 from my art teacher Laurie Lombardi.
