Sam The Eagle Mini Perler Bead

Last night I made this Sam The Eagle mini Perler bead design. I had some small figurine of this guy when I was little and for some reason when me and my best friend spot Olympic items from 1984 we get excited. I used one of the drawings and pixelated it. 

DC Comics Bloodwynd Mini Perler Beads

I made this a couple of nights ago. This is Bloodwynd from DC Comics. The first time I saw him was in Death Of Superman and wondered "Why haven't I heard of this character before?" He is a Black character that doesn't use electricity so that was cool. He does use the dead for a power which is like the number two thing but whatever. I like him. He looks cool. This wasn't as hard to make as I initially believed it would be. It is my first photo style in mini beads. 

Trico The Last Guardian Mini Perler Bead

I have wanted to make something from The Last Guardian for a while but wasn't sure how considering his strange colors. I don't have any mini dark grey beads so I went with grey, clear, and white. 

Avengers Mini Perler Beads

I made these mini Perler beads of the Avengers based off of sprites made by Secret Base. This is the third time I've made something based from this. I like them a lot. 

Mini Perler X-Wing

I did this mini Perler bead version of an X-Wing from Star Wars and forgot to post the picture so here it is. I was waiting for more beads to arrive and made this. I'm posting more images tomorrow of things I made tonight.

Captain Marvel Monica Rambeau

I made this Captain Marvel aka Monica Rambeau aka The Original Captain Marvel. Get outta here, Carol! I had wanted to make something of her a while ago but knew it would be massive. Thanks to mini Perler beads it came out only being 15 inches tall. Still rather big for mini beads but not over two feet tall like it would've been. 

Mini Piranha Plant Perler Beads

I found some sprites of the Piranha Plant and made these using mini Perler beads. Also, you can't tell from this photo but the red also has some very light pink mixed in. I am getting more beads next week so I'll be able to start expanding my designs. 

Appa Mini Perler Bead

This is my 1000th post on this site. Crazy. I have wanted to make a Perler design of Appa from Avatar: the Last Airbender after I started watching the series last year. I remember looking up designs and its pretty much the same two over and over. Now people will have something to copy the way my Falkor was. Seriously. I am not gonna stop being mad about getting zero credit for making that design and no one crediting the original sprite artist. I finished the Avatar series last night and made this after pixelating an image from the cartoon. Using mini beads made this take way longer than it needed to.

Double Dragon/Legend Of Zelda Mini Perler Beads

Yes, I am still messing around with these mini Perler beads. So far I am sticking with simple video game sprites like this Double Dragon featuring the brothers during that terrible moment when you realize that to save the girl one of you has to beat the other to death. My childhood was cold.

I also made this Link from Legend Of Zelda. I was gonna do them as separate pieces but decided to have Link overlapping the dog gremlin.

A.L.F Mini Perler Bead

I made this A.L.F Perler bead yesterday. I also made a cat in a sushi bowl but ruined it standing to go iron it but we won't talk about that. I like the way this came out. I took an image from a sticker (which I actually owned as a child) and pixelated it.

Spider Woman Mini Perler Bead

I made this mini Perler bead design of Spider Woman, Jessica Drew. I was really happy with how this came out considering how small it was and the amount of colors I had to use.

I made this Prince album cover the other day. I plan on making more but need to find album covers that are recognizable while being very minimalist. 

Michael Jackson Mini Perler Beads

I'm doing minis! This is my first time ever making anything with mini Perler beads so I decided to try making easy things. I made these Michael Jackson album covers for Thriller and Bad. I like the way these came out and laughed like a maniac when I finished them. They so tiny!!!

Beast Perler Bead

I did this huge Beast from X-Men a couple days ago when I went on a Perler making spree. I made it late at night so these new midnight blue beads looked super black and I couldn't even see what this really looked like until this morning. 

Starfire And Superman Perler Beads

Last night I went nuts making stuff. I made this Starfire and had the damnedest time trying to figure out her color. She is this strange orange color so I went with the two I had and sand as well for highlights. I still like the way it came out. It was based off of a drawing by Bruce Timm.

Red Hulk Perler Bead

I made this Red Hulk the other day. Actually night. I made this late at night. I like the way it came out. I have made so many Hulk's but never the red one. When I pixelated the drawing I was confused with some of the color choices it made like pink, orange. The strange burgundy. It worked though. At least to me. 

Catwoman Perler Bead

I made this Catwoman Perler bead the other day. It is 25 inches tall. I used a drawing and pixelated it and changed the colors up because I don't have enough blue beads but plenty of purple ones. I like the way this one came out even though I used a bunch of black beads I just got.

Mario Brothers And Coasters

I made this framed Mario Brothers Perler bead a couple of days ago. I found an old frame in my closet and used that. I like the design of the original Mario pixels and wish there were more. 

I also glued one of them to the outside of the frame to be a weirdo. 

I also did some coasters just because I was waiting for other beads to arrive.

VICKI The Robot Perler Bead

I made this Vicki The Robot from Small Wonder Perler Bead a couple nights ago based off of designs by the incredible artists Van Orton Designs. I wanted to go bigger than I did with this one but I am short on some colors so it wasn't happening. I still like how this came out. 

MF DOOM Perler Bead

I made this MF DOOM Perler bead yesterday after hearing about his passing. I first heard him on Cartoon Network (which people sleep on because I have found some incredible musicians through them) and thought his voice and look were incredible. 

Joker (and Garfield) Perler Beads

I made this Joker Perler design based off of art from the Joker of the 1970's which is my favorite Joker look. I also made a Garfield from a video game sprite and changed up the colors. 

Moon Knight Perler Bead

I made this Moon Knight Perler bead design last night. I like the way it came out but wish I had more grey beads to have shaded it a bit more. Yes, I am excited about the upcoming series.

She-Hulk Perler Bead

I made this She-Hulk a couple days ago and forgot to post it. Came out to a little bit taller than two feet tall. Used five shades of green with it which means I will never try this again.
