I Like Having Plants

I know this is different than my other posts where I show images of my Perler bead designs and weird pictures I make of myself almost daily using Pixlr. For a while now I've been growing plants. About a year ago gnats invaded the state because of the rain and ruined them but I wanted to continue having plants in my place. I used to get them from Trader Joe's but those lasted a few weeks before suddenly dying so I decided to start going to actual nurseries for plants.

Anawalt on Santa Monica and Highland is amazing. The plant dude is really nice and helpful. Another is La Cienega Nursery on Sherwood Dr. I was confused because the place was empty of employees but when I left across the street was the jungle looking area. The guy working there is nice and honest. You tell him what you want to do and where your plants are going and he will tell you what you should and should not get. Besides Cam giving me plants like my weird one that lifts itself at night (an the awesome shelf) I headed to this place called Xotx Tropico. I have passed this place legitimately hundreds of times and did not go because the bad Yelp! reviews. Turns out the guys there were extremely helpful and nice. I left there with four new plants.
